Lights and Shadows of Modern Women
A journey of self-discovery through healing humanism, Eastern medicine, and the healing arts

THEME
In this session, we will explore the concept of the shadow developed by Carl Jung to understand that the aspects we keep hidden in the shadow are nothing more and nothing less than the very luminous parts of our being, and how important it is to reclaim them and integrate them into our lives. The work will focus on the concept of the collective shadow of women, and we will use certain mythical and archetypal figures as a foundation to understand some of the aspects that we, as modern women, generally keep hidden in the recesses of our being.
During the course, I will also explain how traditional Chinese medicine and Eastern traditions understand the concept of the shadow, what the parallels are between these two traditions, how they affect women’s health, and what strategies we can develop to improve health.
The material is tailored for both women working in healthcare or Chinese medicine and women with no prior knowledge of the subject, as the benefits of this tradition are accessible to everyone.
Over the weekend, we can share experiences among women, deepen our knowledge together, and enjoy nature; understand the things that happen to all of us; and learn ways to feel better.
